I am writing to you in the hope that you might find this item of interest. I
represent a rock band in Galway named Mali. The group fronted by
Galway-native Emmet O'Malley (his nickname in school was Mali thus the name
of the band) will be releasing a single in Ireland in 2003 titled
'Sunshine'. I was wondering if you could put me in contact with any Mali
groups in Ireland. Maybe a consulate, a group of Mali-natives who may be
interested in this single or anything that could promote Mali the band and
Mali the country.
Also if you could forward any information on Mali to me at: Kevin McGuire,
11 Greenfields Road, Newcastle, Galway, Ireland. I am a journalist with the
local paper here Galway Advertiser and also write for Hotpress magazine
(Ireland's answer to Rolling Stone). I would be interested in forging a link
between this artists and Mali the country.
