I can understand his frustration, but not his self-hatred.
Africa problems are human problems. Every people in human history went
through this agony.
African mentality has to change before Africa can change. Unfortunately we
are not as a people, ready to take our destiny into our own hands. There are
internal and external forces that contribute to that; but I would rather
focus on the internal obtacles within ourselves. Unfortunately we are very
efficient at eliminating any potential good leader.
So in short, we are not psychologically ready to move forward. Reality must
first take shape in the mind. I am confident that our time will come; but
how soon?

Pour les maux de l'Afrique dont vous parlez, j'espere que vous savez
qu'ici
aux USA on trouve les memes dans certains lieux. Dans des
grandes villes ici il y'a des lieux ou on se sent moins en securite qu''a
freetown ou a Mogadisco.
D'utre part, ces gens que vous enviez jusqu'au point de vous renier ne
seraient pas la s'ils s'etaient renies il y'a quelques dizaines d'annees.
Les guerres, la famine, etc. ils l'ont aussi connu.
