i was recently contacted by a Malian gentleman who says he is finishing his
Ph.D. in some "branch of computer science" at a "university in europe." his
email message to me seemed most sincere and i would like to respond... but
he left no contact information. he did, however, attach a photograph of
himself.
forgive me, for i know i am being presumptuous. i believe that there are
probably very few malians, especially in the sciences, especially at the
Ph.D. level or above. the only other information i have about him is that
he uses the alias of "tiemann", is from adamabougou, and is 41 years old.
is it possible that you might take a look at this person and let me know if
you recognize him?

not only the most frequently mentioned along with the words "mali" and
