together with multiple partners including the University of Bonn, will
initiate a project on “Facilitating the Widespread Adoption of Conservation

which he/she will return to the project region to carry out thesis studies
associated with the project. The candidate will work on the effects of
conservation agriculture on the ecology of soils (soil organisms), and the
interactions of soil organisms with soil fertility in these sites. The
doctoral thesis will be expected to fit within the objectives of the CIMMYT
project. After completing field studies, the student will return to Germany
to complete the doctoral studies.
